How long have you had your podcast?
Since August 2017
What inspired you to become a podcast?
Seemed like a fun idea
What kinds of topics do you talk about on your podcast?
Myths, Monsters, legends.
What inspired the name of your podcast?
Just a silly pun on the word ‘myths’ and genuinely couldn’t think of anything better.
Which has been your favorite episode to record so far?
Episode 1. The fact that I managed to get the thing done and uploaded was enough in itself. Learning about editing, recording, adding sound effects was (and still is) so much fun. Then to have the reaction it got was remarkable and it’s all been up from there.
What is the most challenging part about podcasting in the genre you’ve chosen?
To be honest, I don’t really have one. At a push…it isn’t true crime so there’s less of an audience but even then I don’t really have huge targets.
Do you have any funny stories from podcasting?
I met Lilly, who is one of the hosts of the 36 times podcast, the funny part was the chat and getting a gift of a genuine so’wester, certificate and instructions on how to christen it 😁
Is there anyone you’d like to promote?
The odd audio network. https://www.oddaudionetwork.com A wee group of unique and slightly out there podcasts who push each other on social media and to be better. Also And That’s Why We Drink podcast, without whom I wouldn’t have the name I use on my podcast and a feckload of listeners!
