The Immunity Zero YouTube channel has been so supportive of my writing. They’ve read one of my stories on their channel and are a regular listener and promoter of my podcast. It means the world and they deserve to be bragged about!
How long have you had your channel for?
I started my channel in July of 2016.
What inspired you to start your channel?
I’ve always loved telling stories. Horror, sci-fi and fantasy have always been some of my favorite genres. When I heard of creepypasta and NoSleep stories, then I knew I wanted to start producing content. Ultimately, UrMaker is still a leading cause for me to create my channel and move forward no matter what.
What is your favorite part of being on YouTube?
I love creating and meeting new people who share the same passion for doing the same.
Do you have any funny stories related to videos you’ve made?
Oh yes! I did a story for Swamp Dweller’s channel and made a mistake that was missed during the final editing process and was left in the production unfortunately. It is funny overall, but here’s the link https://youtu.be/3En1lRapb3Y if you’d like to hear it. It happens around the one minute ten second mark.
What has been your favorite video to make?
This is a hard choice to make, but if I had to choose one then I think it’d be the video featuring “I Am Ready” by nightmaremasochist. Here’s the link https://youtu.be/8lockoy9PD8
What’s the most challenging part of being a YouTuber in the genre you’ve chosen?
The challenging part is obtaining ears to listen to the content in the beginning. There are a lot of voices to be heard and everyone has something to say. Horror is my chosen genre, but not my only one. It is sometimes a niche area, but I’ve always identified with it and have seen the importance of it allow someone’s mind to grow. All of that being said, it can lead to some uphill battles in acceptance of stories. I’m sure all writers can relate.
What inspiring words do you have for those that are trying to do what you do?
Do everything you can to make sure that doing this always remains fun. It isn’t always easy to produce content, but never give up and always help.
Is there anyone you’d like to promote?
There are so many talented people I’d love to promote. Instead of promoting one person or podcast, I’ll say to just look into our world of writers, storytellers, podcasters, animators and overall creators. You’ll love what you find and we’ll always welcome you.
Where can we find you on social media?
I’m on most social media. You can find me by searching Immunity Zero. However, I’m mostly on Twitter so follow me @ImmunityZero
Thanks so much to Immunity Zero for answering my questions, if you haven’t checked out their channel yet, DO IT!
