Editing and Transcription Services
Along with writing for fun, I also work as a short-form line editor and transcriptionsit!
I’d be happy to take a look at your emails, website blurbs, blog posts, or short stories (up to 1k) and help you with overall flow, punctuation, and grammar. For this service I charge a flat rate of $30.
Do you have a podcast or YouTube channel? Would you like to make that content more accessible for those in the deaf and hard of hearing communities? I’m happy to help with that as well. At my rate of $50 per 30 minutes of audio (up to 3 speakers)**, I’ll transcribe your show and send you the results via Word or Google Docs. I work on backlogged episodes as well as in a timely manner for those that need their work transcribed sooner. Episodes can take up to 3 days to transcribe, so at least 5 days advance notice is preferred.
For YouTube videos, I charge a flat fee of $30 for videos up to 30 minutes (after 30 minutes, I charge my usual rate of $50 per 30 minutes). Due to YouTube’s recent changes to their community captions policy, rather than add the captions myself, I’ll transcribe the video separately and help you through the process of adding them to your video. I’ll then double check the captions for you once the video has finished processing!

Voice Acting
I discovered the magic of theater at a very young age. From kindergarten as the letter “S” in a play about the alphabet to the Queen of Hearts in a college production of Alice in Wonderland, I’ve always loved acting.
Since I’m an anti-social introvert who would rather perform before an audience as another person than have 5 minutes of small talk with a single human, voice acting is the perfect combo of my desire to perform and my desire to stay home.
My rates are flexible depending on the project, so all you have to do is shoot me an email with the form below.
Most of what I’ve done is wrapped up in the archived episodes of The Short Stories of Augie Peterson and, of course, Augie’s Attic. Not all of the projects I’ve been cast in got off the ground, but one did and in it, I play an Irish banshee.
Audio Editing
Need an editor for your podcast, YouTube channel or short film? Audio editing is one of the many services I offer that I’m extremely passionate about. I’m happy to make sure your two person conversation flows naturally but I also enjoy adding music and sound effects! Below you’ll find samples of the work I’ve done but I’m happy to offer more if you’d like to hear them.
My audio editing rates are $2 per audio minute of unedited audio (ex: You send me a 30 minute file that gets edited down to 20 minutes once I’m finished with it+ your cost is $60)
